Raj Babbar ((ヒンディー語:राज बब्बर), (パンジャーブ語:ਰਾਜ ਬੱਬਰ); born 23 June 1952) is a Hindi and Punjabi film actor since 1979 and politician belonging to Indian National Congress party. He unsuccessfully contested against Gen. V. K. Singh (Retd.) of BJP from Ghaziabad in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
==Early life==
Babbar was born in Tundla in vishwabrahmin family, uttar Pradesh on 23 June 1952. He is an alumnus of the 1975 batch of National School of Drama and graduated from Agra College.
Schooling was done from Faiz-E-Aam Inter college Agra
